Tsilivi Strand
Der Tsilivi Strand liegt in einer begrünten Region nördlich der Stadt von Zakynthos. Das Tsilivi Dorf ist einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen und obwohl es viele Besucher hat, bleibt es immer noch freundlich und traditionell. Der Strand ist wunderschön und bietet eine Menge Möglichkeiten an, wie Wassersports. Das saubere, klare Meerwasser ist untief und deswegen auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern geeignet.
Über Zakynthos
Zakynthos, die Blume des Ostens, ist eine Insel mit vielen Attraktionen und Stränden, die man unbedingt besuchen soll. Einige davon:
- Das Schiffswrack von Zakynthos. Es handelt sich um ein sinkendes Schiff, das in einer abgelegenen Bucht strandete. Es ist eine der berühmtesten Sehenswürdigkeiten und ist nur vom Meer zugänglich.
- Die Blauen Grotten an der nördlichen Seite der Insel. Eine der besten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel und nur vom Meer zugänglich.
- Das Byzantinische Museum, das Schifffahrtsmuseum und das Volkskundemuseum in der Stadt von Zakynthos.
- Das Venezianische Schloss am Hügel von Bochalli direkt hinter der Stadt Zakynthos.
- Marathonisi, eine kleine nicht besiedelte Insel in der Bucht von Laganas, nur vom Meer zugänglich. Da Marathonisi aus der Entfernung an eine Schildkröte erinnert und die Schildkröten Caretta-Caretta auf die Strände jeden Sommer ihre Eier legen, wird die Insel vorwiegend von Touristen als „Schildkröteninsel“ bezeichnet.
- Laganas, ist ein Teil des Nationalen Seeparks, der den Ziel hat die Schildkröte Caretta-Caretta, die ihre Eier auf dem Strand legt, zu beschützen. Sie können dort durch kleinen Bootsfahrten die Schildkröten beobachten.
- Xigia Strand, ein malerischer Strand, einzigartig auf der Insel. Die Besonderheit hier ist eine Unterwassergrotte mit einer Schwefelquelle.
